Saddle Mountain is located on S coast of Alaska Peninsula, 10 mi. NE of entrance to Chinitna Bay and 47 mi. NW of Homer, Aleutian Range

Name derived from a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) fieldsheet and reported by F. H. Moffit, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) (in Brooks and others, 1920, pl. 2).
