Description
Lowell Creek is located on Kenai Peninsula, heads between Marathon Mtn. and Bear Mtn., flows E to an aqueduct W of Seward, Chugach Mts.
History
Local name published by D. H. Sleem on his map of Central Alaska dated 1910. Probably named for Captain Lowell who, with his family, were the first white settlers in the area, arriving there in 1884.
