Description
On the N end of Kenai Penin, heading in a cirque and flowing NW for 4.5 mi, then NE for 4.3 mi to the head of Turnagain Arm, 2.8 mi NW of the settlement of Portage, 14 mi. SE of Sunrise, Chugach Mts.

Named in 1950 byU.S. Forest Service (USFS)for R.C. Ingram (died 1948), resident engineer for the Bureau of Public Roads, in charge of practically all road work on this forest for 25 years.
