Description
Coal Creek is located on Kenai Peninsula, flows SW to Kasilof River, 14 mi. S of Kenai, Cook Inlet Low.
History
Local name reported in 1958 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). So named because "coal seams occur along the course of the stream."
