Description
Chickaloon River is located heads in Swan Lake, on Kenai Peninsula, flows NW to Chickaloon Bay, 19 mi. SSW of Anchorage, Cook Inlet Low. 36 miles long.
History
Indian name reported in 1895 as "Chic Cloon" by G. F. Becker (in Baker, 1902, p. 124), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
