Description
Wibel is located on Kenai Peninsula, 6 mi. NNE of Lower Summit Lake and 10 mi. S of Sunrise, Chugach Mts.
History
Former mining camp reported in 1915 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) as "Wibel's." Recent U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) maps indicate a site of six buildings.
