Description
Sterling is located population 115, S of Sterling Highway at junction of Moose and Kenai Rivers, 18 mi E of Kenai, Cook Inlet Low.
History
Village that apparently had its name formalized in 1954 when a post office was established (Ricks, 1965, pl. 61).
