Description
On Kenai Peninsula in Chugach National Forest, Crescent-shaped lake extends E-W 6 mi., W side of Madison Mt., 2.8 mi N of Kenai Lake, 25 NW of Seward.
History
So named in 1952 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) "because of the shape of the lake."
