Cynthia Falls is located on Iniskin Peninsula, in course of Hardy Creek, 2.8 mi. SW of mouth of Fitz Creek at Chinitna Bay, Aleutian Range
History
Local name reported by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1947; derived from the name of a geological formation in the vicinity given by oil company geologists in 1938 because the waterfall is fromed by a distinctive unit of sedimentary rocks.
