Description
Anisom Point is located on Kenai Peninsula, N point of entrance to Eldred Passage, on SE shore of Kachemak Bay, 8 mi. SE of Homer, Chugach Mts.;
History
Local name; published by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1961. This point probably derived its name from an Eskimo, named Anisim, who had a cabin in the area. Reported by de Laguna (1934, p. 20), Bureau of American Ethnology (BAE).
