On the W coast of Kenai Peninsula, 15 mi NW of Homer, Cook Inlet Low.
History
Named by Captain Cook, Royal Navy (RN), (1785, v. 2, p. 353) because he lost an anchor off the point when he was exploring the area in 1778.
