Description
Rhino Peak is located at head of Mendenhall Glacier, 2 mi. NE of Mendenhall Towers and 18 mi. N of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Descriptive name published in 1960 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Members of the Juneau Icefield Research Project have proposed to change the name to Rhino Horn.
