W of junction of Taku Glacier and its Southwest Branch, 1.6 mi. E of Shoehorn Mtn. and 22 mi. NE of Juneau, Coast Mts.
History
Named by members of the Juneau Icefield Research Project in 1965. Published as "Juncture Peak" by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1960. It is so named because of its location at the juncture of the glaciers.
