Description
Berners River is located heads in glacier in Kakuhan Range, flows SE to Berners Bay, 43 mi. NW of Juneau, Coast Mts. 15 miles long.
History
Local name reported by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1906 and published in 1908. Name derived from the bay into which it flows.
