Description
Hendrickson Creek is located on N end of Douglas I., flows N to Gastineau Channel, 5 mi. NW of Juneau, Coast Mts. 1 mile long.
History
Named for Henry H. Hendrickson, 1862-1945, miner and fisherman, who was born in Finland. He came to Juneau in 1894 and homesteaded on the creek (DeArmond, 1957, p. 24). Name published in 1962 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
