History
Named in 1966 by the State of Alaska for B. Frank Heintzleman (1888-1965), former Regional Forester and Governor of Alaska. Heintzleman, in a way, chose his own memorial by casually remarking that, if anything were ever named for him, he hoped it would be "that ridge."
