Robert Islands is located off S shore of Port Houghton at its junction with Stephens Passage, 2.5 mi. NE of Fort Point and 73 mi. E of Sitka, Coast Mts.

Named in 1882 by Lieutenant Commander H. E. Ncihols, U.S. Navy (USN); published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1891 Coast Pilot (p. 128).
