Jaw Point is located in Woewodski Harbor, on E coast of Liesnoi I., off SE coast of Admiralty I., Alex. Arch.
History
Descriptive name given in 1889 by Lieutenant Commander H. B. Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN); published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1891 Coast Pilot (p. 142). Liesnoi Island is shaped somewhat like a jaw. Jaw Point marks the point of the lower jaw.
