Description
Fishery Point is located on Chatham Strait, 8 mi. E of mouth of Tenakee Inlet, on Admiralty I., 10 mi. E of Tenakee Springs, Alex. Arch.
History
Local name published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1883 Coast Pilot (p. 179). "So named because there was an Indian fishing station just to south on Fishery Creek."
