Description
Cape Fanshaw is located at S end of Stephens Passage, between Fanshaw Bay and Frederick Sound, 68 mi. E of Sitka, Coast Mts.
History
Named by Captain George Vancouver, Royal Navy (RN), when it was discovered on August 14, 1794, by Lieutenant J. Whidbey, RN (Wagner, 1937, p. 387).
