Description
Hugh Miller Inlet is located along SW shore of Glacier Bay, Glacier Bay National Monument, S of Gilbert I., 58 mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts. 5 miles long.
History
Named "Hugh Miller Fiord" in 1879 by John Muir (1915, p. 312). The name was derived from Hugh Miller Glacier.
