History
Russian name published by Lieutenant Sarichev (1826, map 5), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN) as "Spaskaya Gavan" or literally "harbor of the church of our Savior," although the name in this case, may commemorate Gregori Spasskaya, Russian Hydrographer.
