Description
Ferebee Valley is located extends SE 22 mi. from head of Ferebee Glacier to Chilkoot Inlet, 11 mi. E of Klukwah Mtn. and 12 mi. S of Skagway, Coast Mts.
History
Named in 1880 by the U.S. Navy for surgeon Nelson MacPherson Ferebee, U.S. Navy (USN), who visited the region in 1880. Published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1891 Coast Pilot (p. 203).
