Description
Villard Glacier is located on N side of Mt. Villard, trends NE to its 1964 terminus, 12 mi. S of Skagway, Coast Mts.
History
Named by W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), for Henry Villard, French glaciologist, and published in the 1883 Alaska Coast Pilot (pl. 1819).
