Boat Harbor is located on W shore of Lynn Canal, 4 mi. N of Point Whidbey and 35 mi. NW of Juneau, St. Elias Mts.; 1 mile wide.

Named by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1891 and published in 1893 on Chart 8300.
