Sorrels Creek is located flows SW to Little Chena River, 30 mi. NE of Fairbanks, Yukon-Tanana High.

Named by prospectors; reported in 1903 by T. G. Gerdine in (Prindle, 1905, pl.13), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
