Heading at the confluence of Junction Creek and Mosquito Creek, flowing NNE to the Salcha River, 9 mi NE of Harding Lake and 32 mi NW of Big Delta, Yukon-Tanana High.

Local name originally reported in 1907 as Redman Creek by Prindle (1908, pl. 4), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); present spelling published in 1911 (Brooks and others, p. 193).
