Description
Homestake Creek is located flows W to Charity Creek, 68 mi. SW of Circle, Yukon-Tanana High. 3.5 miles long.
History
Miners' name reported in 1903 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and given to the Creek which flows to the head waters of Faith Creek (Prindle, 1905, p. 13). Subsequently, the name "Charity Creek" has been reapplied through local usage to the former lower course of the stream.
