Backman Creek is located flows NW to Chatanika River, 16 mi. N of Fairbanks, Yukon-Tanana High. 2.3 miles long.
History
Named by prospectors. Name published in 1908 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) as Beckman Creek; local usage has been adopted for the present spelling.
