Alder Creek is located flows SE to Fairbanks Creek, 21 mi. NE of Fairbanks, Yukon-Tanana High.

Named by prospectors; reported in 1903 by T. G. Gerdine, (in Prindle, 1905, pl. 13), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
