Fox is located on right bank of Fox Creek as it enters Goldstream Creek valley, 10 mi. NE of Fairbanks, Yukon-Tanana High. sec 31,T2N,R1E,Fairbanks Meridian
History
Former mining camp established before 1905. The Fox post office was established in 1908; discontinued in 1947 (Ricks, 1965, p. 21). Its population was 25 in 1950.
