Description
Allen River is located heads at Chikuminuk Lake, flows SE to Lake Chauekuktuli, 125 mi. SW of Sleetmute, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts. 3.6 miles long.
History
Locally named for "Byron Allen, who with a partner was lost in the river about 1900"; reported in 1931 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
