Description
Grassy Island is located awash at highest tides, near head of Nushagak Bay, 2 mi. S of Dillingham, Bristol Bay Low. 2.5 miles long.
History
Descriptive name given in 1952 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) called Williams Island in 1890 by U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF).
