Description
Located in Denali National Park and Preserve. The two individually named peaks, North Peak and South Peak, are 2 mi. apart and separated by Denali Pass. North Peak and South Peak, as parts of the Churchill Peaks, are atop Denali.
History
Named in 1965 for Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965), Prime Minister of Great Britain during World War II.
