Powell Gulch is located extends SE to Chisna River, S of Chisna Pass, 23 mi. NE of Paxson, Alaska Range
History
Named by prospectors for A.W. Powell, engineer and pioneer in the Copper River country. The name was reported in 1900 by T.G. Gerdine, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
