Description
Calamity Gulch is located heads at glacier, trends SW to Young Creek 4 mi. W of junction of Sheep Creek, 20 mi. SE of McCarthy, St. Elias Mts. 4 miles long.
History
Name "used by disappointed prospectors" and reported by Mendenhall and Schrader (1903, fig. 5), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
