On E side of Valdez Glacier about 11.5 mi NNE of Valdez, Chugach Mountains.
History
Named in 1959 by Lawrence Nielsen for Captain William R. Abercrombie, USA, who led several expeditions in this area in 1884, 1898, and 1899.
