Description
In the Chugach Mountains, on the S side of Valdez Glacier, SE of Mount Cashman, 16 mi. NNW of Valdez; Sec 19, T6S, R6W, Copper River Meridian.
History
Named by L. E. Nielsen in 1959 for Dr. Edwin Logan (?-1899), who spent the winter of 1898-99 in the interior of Alaska where he saved lives of many prospectors but died on Valdez Glacier while trying to rescue a group of prospectors sick with scurvy.
