Description
In the Wrangell Mountains, flows S and W 37 mi. from Nizina Glacier to the Chitina River, 19.3 km (12 mi) SW of McCarthy.
History
Indian name reported by Hayes (1892, p. 124); "We camped on a stream flowing into the Pacific. tributary of the Chittenah (Chitina), or eastern branch of Copper river."
