Description
Nadina River is located heads at Nadina Glacier, flows SW to Copper River, 3.3 mi. NE of the locality of Willow Creek, 62 mi. NE of Valdez, Copper River Basin.
History
Ahtena Indian name spelled Knetena by Captain W. R. Abercrombie, USA, in 1898. T. G. Gerdine and W. C. Mendenhall, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), introduced the present spelling in 1902.
