Description
Little Nelchina River is located heads at 620600N1474900W, flows SE to Nelchina River, 1.5 mi. N of Twin Lakes and 61 mi. NW of Valdez, Copper River Basin
History
Captain E. F. Glenn, USA, named this river in 1898 "Bubb Creek" and gave its Ahtena Indian name "Taiklano." It was called "Nelchina River" in 1906 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and later "Little Nelchina" River (Moffit, 1915, fig. 3).
