Description

Lick Creek is located heads in Nutzotin Mts., flows NE and NW to Nabesna River 7.5 mi. SW of Jatahmund Lake, and 29 mi. SW of Northway, Alaska Range

History

So named by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) field party because the clays along the stream were licked by mountain sheep; reported in 1940 by P. S. Smith, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
