Description
Klu River is located flows NE to Chakina River 8 mi. S of junction of Chakina and Chitina Rivers, 17 mi. SW of McCarthy, Chugach Mts.
History
Name reported in 1900 by T. G. Gerdine, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). This may be the Ahtena Indian word (Khlu) meaning "glacier."
