Description
Cheshnina River is located heads at Cheshnina Glacier, flows SW to Copper River, 3.3 mi. NW of Lower Tonsina and 65 mi. NE of Valdez, Copper River Basin. 24 miles long.
History
Indian name obtained in 1898 by Captain W. R. Abercrombie, USA, who spelled it "Cheshnena" and "Cheshni River."
