Description
Buck Creek is located in Mentasta Mts., flows NW to Little Tok River, 12 mi. SE of Mentasta Pass, Alaska Range. 12 miles long.
History
So named in 1902 by F. C. Schrader, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because of the dense growth of "buck brush" in its valley.
