Taral (historical) is located on E bank of Copper River, N of Wood Canyon, 64 mi. NE of Valdez, Chugach Mts.
History
Former Ahtena Indian village or camp reported in 1885 by Lieutenant Allen (1887, p. 49), USA; at that time it consisted of two houses.
