Description
Klutina Lake is located in course of Klutina River of 44 mi. N of Valdex; Chugach Mts.
History
Name derived from the rivers named by several hundred prospectors who camped at this lake in 1898. It has also been locally called "Abercrombie Lake" for Captain William Ralph Abercrombie, USA, who was exploring this area that year. See Klutina River.
