Description
Kluvesna Glacier is located trends SW to its terminus at head of Kluvensa River, 16 mi. NW of Mount Blackburn, Wrangell Mts.
History
Prospectors' name reported in 1900 as "Kluwesna Glacier" by T. G. Gerdine, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); it may have been derived from the Ahtena Indian word "khly" meaning "glacier."
