Description
Frederika Glacier is located trends SE alowng W slope of Frederika Mtn. to its terminus at head of Frederika Creek, 30 mi. NE of McCarthy, Wrangell Mts. 10 miles long.
History
Named in 1891 by Hayes (1892, pl. 20), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). presumably for Lieutenant Frederick Schwatka, USA, leader of the party with which Hayes explored the Yukon that year.
