Description
Baird Canyon is located along course of Copper River, trends SW to Miles Lake, 38 mi. N of Katalla, Chugach Mts. 4 miles long.
History
Named in 1885 by Lieutenant Allen, (1887, p. 43), USA, for Spencer Fullerton Baird, 1823-87. See Baird Glacier.
